A Bit About Us

Local 1926 plays an important role in representing the firefighters, lieutenants and captains of the Annapolis Fire Department with in the International Association of Firefighters.  Labor organizations like ours contribute to the well-being and rights of workers within the fire service.  Our well structured executive board effectively serves over 120 sworn personnel.  Having a leadership team with clear roles and responsibilities, as well as shop stewards for each platoon/shift, helps ensure effective communication and advocacy for our members.
